Fused Glass Workshops

Enjoy the calming, meditative process of working with glass.
These small-group workshops offer a relaxed and friendly space to work with your hands, experiment with colour, texture and form, learn new skills and create something uniquely your own.
No previous experience is necessary. You will have plenty of support throughout the session and can work at your own pace.
Your first session
Your first workshop introduces you to the basic techniques of fused glass through a simple project.
A student materials pack is provided free of charge for your first session, so you can begin experimenting with the material without needing to buy anything beforehand.
You will make your piece during the workshop. I will then fire it in the kiln, and it will be ready for you to collect the following week.
The first project might be a colourful sun catcher, or another small piece that allows you to explore the basic possibilities of fused glass.
Continue making and develop your skills
The first session is an introduction, but it doesn’t have to be a one-off.
Once you have learned the basics, you can return to experiment further, develop your own ideas and become more confident working with glass.
You might want to make glass jewellery, homeware, sun catchers or your own artwork.
As you develop, you can choose and purchase your own glass either from the studio or from recommended suppliers.
The workshops are intended to give you the freedom to explore the material at your own pace, with guidance and support whenever you need it.
Small groups, plenty of support
The workshops are kept small so that there is time to work individually with each participant.
Whether you are completely new to fused glass or returning to develop your skills, the aim is to create an enjoyable and unhurried environment where you can concentrate on the process of making.

£50 per person
3 sessions for £120
Save £30 with a block booking.
The first session includes your student materials pack. Subsequent projects require additional glass, which can be purchased separately.
